File Set-Up Info for Slides and Prints
Our equipment will
image any size file.
It will size the
image and rotate if necessary and scale as big as possible with out cropping
ANY of your image.
None of your
image will be cropped off. Our film recorders will place ALL of your image just
inside of the slide mount.
There is no need to add some black around your images like other services request.
The exception to this is Print Wizard, it WILL crop your image. You have 4 ratios
to pick from and can adjust the cropping.
If your file is
not a 2x3 ratio the slide will have black borders on 2 sides.
The borders
will not
show when projected unless the room is very dark.
Sizes to create your files that will fill the frame are: 4x6, 6.6x10, 8x12, 9.3x14 at 300 DPI.
Our
software will read the color space stored in your file for color matching.
If your files have
no color space tag sRGB is assumed.
sRGB is the color space that most digital cameras use.
Save your files
as RGB color, JPEG or TIFF format.
These formats will also work:
PNG, GIF,
BMP,
TGA,
PSD or PCD files.
Use JPEG
for the fastest upload
time.
Do
not upload you files from CD's, copy
your files to your computer and upload them from there.
